Two-factor Authentication Help

What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-Factor Authentication, or 2FA, is an extra layer of security designed to protect your online accounts. When you enable 2FA, you’ll need to provide not only your password but also a second form of verification before gaining access. This second step is a code that is sent to your email.

By requiring two forms of identification, 2FA helps prevent unauthorized access even if someone else knows your password. It’s a simple but powerful way to keep your information safe.

General Questions

  1. How long is my code valid for?

The 2FA code you receive is valid for 5 minutes or until a new code is generated. For security reasons, codes expire quickly, so be sure to enter it promptly.

  2. What Email will this be sent from?

It will be sent from noreply@zoetis.com.

  3. What should I do if it's been 5 minutes and I didn't receive the code?

The option to resend the code will appear after 10 seconds.

Troubleshooting 2FA Issues

If you’re having trouble receiving your 2FA code, try the following steps:

1. Check Your Spam or Junk Email Folder

Sometimes, 2FA emails can be mistakenly filtered into your spam or junk folder. Be sure to check these folders in your email account. Here’s how to find them in common email providers:

  • Gmail: Look for the “Spam” folder in the left sidebar.
  • Outlook: Check the “Junk Email” folder.
  • Yahoo Mail: Open the “Spam” folder from the sidebar.

2. Whitelist Our Email Address

To ensure you receive 2FA emails without interruption, please add noreply@zoetis.com to your email safe sender list or contacts. This helps your email provider recognize our messages as safe and prevents them from being blocked or sent to spam.

How to whitelist:

  • Add noreply@zoetis.com to your contacts or address book.
  • In your email settings, look for options like “Safe Senders,” “Approved List,” or “Whitelist” and add our email address there.

3. Resend the 2FA Code

If you still don’t see the code, try requesting it again on the login page.

4. Contact Support

If you’ve tried all the above and still can’t receive your 2FA code, please contact our support team for further assistance. Please include the issue you are experiencing, along with the troubleshooting measures you have taken.
